Baked feta cheese with figs and walnuts

A delicious appetizer to prepare very quickly for you and your friends. The combination of feta with figs, nuts and honey will give you deliciousness and taste satisfaction.

Equipment

  • 1 fireproof pan
  • 1 knife

Ingredients
  

  • 200 gram. feta cheese
  • 4 figs cut into quarters
  • 30 gram. coarsely chopped walnuts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 tablespoon honey
  • 1 κλωναράκι fresh rosemary
  • freshly ground pepper

Instructions
 

  • 1. Preheat the oven to 180oC.
    2. Place the feta cheese in a small ovenproof dish, add the sliced figs and sprinkle with the coarsely chopped walnuts.
    3. Drizzle with olive oil and honey.
    4. Add the rosemary on top of the feta and the figs.
    5. Bake for about 20 minutes or until golden.
    6. Sprinkle with freshly ground pepper.
    If you want, before serving, drizzle again with olive oil and honey.
     
     

Notes

1. You can replace the nuts with peanuts or pecans, but also with a mix of nuts of your choice.
2. Also if you don't have figs you can use vanillas.
