Masalas is a mixture of spices from India and Pakistan, which can be found commercially as a powder, as a paste, but you can make it at home with your own spices. It has a nice aroma and a medium spicy taste. This flavor becomes more intense if you sauté the spices in a pan with a little oil or even without oil and grind them all together in a coffee grinder.

Garam means hot or hot and masala means spice. The meaning of the word "hot" is more "hot" than "hot", as the mixture is not particularly spicy, but has the ability to increase body temperature by accelerating metabolism. This is the theory given in Ayurveda.

It is also known to help the immune system. It helps with the common cold and fever. A cup of garam masala tea ¨"flushes out" the internal secretions from the body and helps in removing the inflammation of the chest.

This mixture most likely originated in northern India. Today it can be found all over the country with different variations, with more or less spices, even with spices from the region where it is made. It is said that it can be found with 5 or even 30 different spices.

Apart from garam masala there are Kashmiri Masala, Chat Masala, Green Masala and Madrasi Masala.
