Pancakes

Fluffy, juicy, hearty pancakes are a favorite of young and old alike and make an excellent breakfast or a Sunday branch!

Equipment

  • 1 bowl

Ingredients
  

  • 180 gram. flour for all uses
  • 1 Envelope baking powder (15 g)
  • 2 presses salt
  • 1 tablespoon of cut brown or white granulated sugar
  • 280 gram. fresh milk
  • 60 gram. melted butter

Instructions
 

  • 1. Sift the flour and add it to a deep bowl.
    2. Add the baking powder, salt and sugar. Mix well.
    3. Make a small well in the middle and add the egg, after lightly beating it, the milk and the melted butter.
    4. Lightly grease a frying pan with a little oil and add the mixture in batches with a deep ladle.
    5. Allow to cook for a few minutes and flip until cooked on the other side.
    6. Continue with the rest until the mixture is finished.

Notes

Pancakes are a very easy preparation that can be made at any time.
As far as their management or their mix is concerned, the following possibilities exist:
  1. we can keep the ready pancakes in the fridge for a few days.
  2. we can freeze them by putting small pieces of wax paper between them and taking out as many as we want at a time and warming them up.
  3. we can keep the mixture in the refrigerator for 2-3 days.
  4. and finally you can keep the raw mixture in the freezer after putting it in airtight containers.
Pancakes can be combined with honey, fruit, icing sugar, maple syrup and various cheeses.
